Nutrition Coaching – for midlife, menopause & beyond

Because nutrition is fundamental to health, vitality and wellbeing, I wonder why it is all too often overlooked in support packages. After all, it is well documented that we are what we eat! I work on a preventative basis using the latest scientific nutritional knowledge from valid and peer-reviewed research.

Preventative nutrition uses dietary interventions to support general health, wellbeing and the desired changes of the client. I support, inspire, motivate and guide you to eat smart with minimal fuss – so that you can live life well and nourish your way to better health and increased energy and vitality.

How I can help you

Many people tell me that they are confused by all the dietary information out there, that it is conflicting and complicated to understand.  And I totally agree.  That is why I am motivated to get the truth out there, to give people the most recent evidence-based information, broken down into it’s simplest form.

Yes, simple is totally possible.  Information in clear and simple language.  Together, we explore your circumstances and discover what you need to include more of and what it would help to limit.  And then how to do that.  Simple, time-saving ideas, hacks, recipes.

Never hungry, always satisfied, whilst giving your body the nutrients it so deserves (given how it works so hard for us cleaning up, regulating systems, repairing cells and so on).

No false promises, no hype, nothing I’m calling ground-breaking or revolutionary.  No. Just, as ever, information that is grounded in scientific evidence.

So, get in touch.  Support my vision that all individuals have the knowledge, insight, awareness and confidence to live life to the full.  To take personal accountability for their own health, wellbeing and potential for growth.  It is the least we all deserve, and what we need to do to keep this machine we call our body working for us for many more years to come.

Did you know that...

The stress chemical cortisol released by the adrenal glands during acute stress, will automatically shut down digestive process in order to divert blood supply to major muscles (in order to flee from the perceived threat).

If chronic levels of stress persist, cortisol increases appetite and the desire for energy-dense foods high in fat, sugar or both.

Stressed people tend not to sleep so well, exercise less and drink more alcohol, contributing to fatigue and frequent snacking.
