I am passionate about supporting professional women in all stages of menopause, because I’ve been through it myself.

Yes, I was one of those who decided to take a step back from my career at that time to reduce pressure and stress on myself. I wanted to avoid total burnout. I worked away from home regularly and it was easy to blame the routine of my job.  I only found out afterwards, at that point in time, a huge 77% of women didn’t realise all of the symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause.  It is only in the last two to three years that we have so much more information and understanding.

It is never an easy (or linear road!) but I was able to get so much closer to feeling ‘normal’ again when I began to study nutrition and learned about the specific nutrients needed in the diet at this life stage.  I added a qualification in Hypno-CBT to my skillset, and found it very helpful for flushes, stress reduction, deep relaxation and managing those pesky unhelpful habits.
